I have been asked why I have not written another entry on development in a while, the answer is rather simple, this site will no longer have any development entries. I am moving all my development blogging to a new blog in the next 6 weeks or so. You will find all my technical stuff on my new blog called “The ASP.NET Guy”, expect some great stuff there starting with a weekly feature called “Developing Project Banana” and a monthly feature called “Optimising the web with ASP.NET”. This is to separate my personal blogging on “Living in South Africa”, “Travelling in South Africa”, “My random thoughts” and “Photography” separate to my development blogging. I felt that I was confusing the issues too much, I apologise for any and all inconvenience.
I am rather happy with my move to WordPress, however there are a few wishes that I have and intend to carry out, even though I will need to learn PHP.
Microsoft taking blogging seriously? No I mean "seriously"!
Well if Windows Live Writer is not serious enough then I do not know what is. Mind you Microsoft has always asked their in house developers and product manager to blog regularly. With Windows Live Spaces (and MSN Spaces) Microsoft is just enhancing the need to communicate. And with the arrival of Windows Live Writer proving how serious and committed they are.
