I must be honest the early mornings got to me, we slept in late and left at about 7:30, this was to be a birding day. We saw the odd giraffe, a couple of various bucks and the obligatory elephants. We took some more sand roads along the Mozambican border towards Mopani and came back on the tarred road (S134,S50,H1-6). The highlight of the day was the endangered Ground Hornbills and African Green Pigeons, both are rather rare.

Hello Pascal,
we met in Mopani, Shingwedzi and Punda Maria. Do you remember?
It`s funny to see the photos you have taken of the animals and landscape while we were visiting the same places nearly to the same time. We recognized even animals – the small hyaena beside the road to Shingwedzi, the cocodiles near Crooks corner (the green Pidgeon?!!)a.s.o.
We hope to have as well some photos in the internet, soon!
Kind regards from Germany
Uwe & Andrea
